1. COACH GUIDELINES

The purpose of this coach evaluation form is to ensure CYBSA players are being coached by motivated, knowledgeable, and responsible adults. This is neither an exercise in “gotcha” nor is this payback time, but rather this is a tool to further enhance the standard of excellence that should guide all CYBSA participants.Because this is a volunteer program in youth athletics it should be understood that baseball expertise, although important and actively sought out, is not the sole factor to consider in assessing a coach’s worth to the program. To the extent a coach embodies the bedrock tenets of the Little League code – courage, character, and loyalty, he will be deemed an asset to the program and applauded for his efforts.
