Summary of project:

Target group: School dropouts from Touch Youth Learning Centre and NorthLight School aged 14 to 18.
Each of these youths will be paired with a student buddy from various JCs/ Polytechnics who will befriend them during the journey.

Planning and Organization:
To be done by the dropouts, student volunteers and us
All will be assigned to various committees: liaison with external organisations, publicity, welfare and logistics.
Publicity:
Youths will make orange ribbons
- Will be attached to a card that explains how the students can do their part in helping dropouts get back on their feet.
- To be distributed during the school tours

Actual journey:
Starts at 8am and ends at 5pm, Monday 9th February 2009. (Singapore Random Kindness Week)
Start at Bishan MRT, then follow a route and run to the selected schools.
- Participants will mingle with the students.
- Students and staff will be encouraged to donate to Touch Community Youth Learning Centre and NorthLight School.

Reflections:
- Sharing of their feelings, experiences and learning points by youths
- Presentation of certificates of achievement to youths to encourage them to apply what they have learnt in the future.
- Talks by former dropouts who are now successful to prove that success is possible and to inspire youths to dream big.
